I’m KB, and I want you to imagine a boy with his back to the wall, eyes scanning the floor, as if answers were to be found between the linoleum tiles. That boy was me, absorbed in a cloud of quiet insecurities, cocooned in shyness that felt like an impenetrable shell. LuvLogic, the brand you’re getting to know right now, is deeply rooted in my past, my struggles, and the triumphs that followed. This isn’t just about giving advice; it’s about sharing a piece of my soul.

In the fabric of my childhood were the threads of a single-parent home, a mighty mother steering the ship on her own, and the palpable absence of MEN. Poverty and the void left by the lack of a strong male presence taught me lessons that would take years to unravel and understand. My journey to find that elusive male role model felt like searching for a mirage in a vast, unforgiving desert.

Throughout my school years, this hunger for guidance translated into a multitude of challenges, especially in my interactions with the opposite sex. My low self-esteem was a wall that repelled affection, a shadow that I thought I could never outpace. A well-intentioned mom, bless her heart, can shower a boy with love, but there was a language in manhood she couldn’t speak into me — how to juggle inner peace and the rage within, or how to stand up again after the sting of teenage rejection.

Change knocked on my door not as a grand event, but as a slow dawn of realizations post-high school. It was as if I woke up one day hearing Eddie Vedder’s verse, ‘Dream up a new self for himself,’ and finally understood what it meant to break out of my cocoon. The metamorphosis involved pushing boundaries, moving out, going to college, and committing to self-improvement. I stepped into the gym not just to build muscle, but to construct a new self-image brick by emotional brick.

During those college years, I experienced both the rush of romantic success and the familiar taste of relationships ending too soon. It wasn’t until I truly reinvented my self-esteem that I was ready to meet my wife, the woman who would stand by the man I became, not the ghost of the boy I was. Now, this experience isn’t meant to sit in the attic of my memories; it’s the foundation upon which LuvLogic stands.

You may wonder why sharing this narrative matters. It’s because behind every tip and piece of counsel I offer lies a personal story, a learning moment, that you can relate to and learn from. Confidence, you see, is not an accessory. It’s the core outfit of life, especially with women, and I learned that the hard way.

Finding Purpose Through Service in Love and Relationships

My life’s trajectory took a significantly different path when I realized that helping others wasn’t just something I did; it became the essence of who I am. Service-oriented at heart, I like to think that my penchant for aid and guidance is my true calling, my unstated purpose. I’m not just in the business of advising; I am deeply invested in being ‘in service of’ each person who seeks my help.

Despite the sunshine in my life now, shadows from past heartbreaks sometimes cross my mind. My experiences with women have been a tapestry of emotion and discovery, and although I’ve found happiness with my wife, the echoes of past pains linger. I don’t shy away from these memories; instead, I choose to channel them into something more powerful, more positive.

I aim to be the beacon for that high school senior wrestling with the nerve to ask someone out to prom, or the divorced man stepping back into the dating scene. I see myself as the companion for the elderly man seeking a partner and the mentor for the person pondering a marriage proposal after years of courtship. Each story, each question is an opportunity for me to offer my insights and support.

You see, I believe in the transformative power of shared experience. By reflecting on my journey and the lessons I’ve learned, I can offer you a road map—a guide to navigating the complex world of love and relationships. It’s not just about finding love; it’s about discovering the strength and resilience within you that has always been there.
